Career Services is focused on connecting students to opportunities so they are active and engaged, leading to career readiness. This is done through a robust internship program, engaging students with leadership opportunities, student employment, and other opportunities for students to be active in preparing for the world of work

The UNI Counseling Center offers free, confidential counseling between you and your professionally-trained counselor about personal, social, or emotional issues.

As a University resource center the mission of Gender & Sexuality Services is to "...promote healthy, engaged, successful LGBTQ+ students and allies. Gender & Sexuality Services provide a safe space, resources, and educational opportunities to advocate for an inclusive community."

Military and Veteran Student Services |

Our role is to support military members, veterans, and their families at UNI as they transition between military duty, college, and new careers. We are committed to faculty and staff education, on and off campus resource networking, advocacy, and listening to each student to ensure that each military affiliated students' voice is heard and they are empowered to achieve success in class and beyond.

Faculty and staff within your major are excellent resources for students planning to stay within their major. Students can locate their faculty/staff advisor’s contact information by logging in to their MyUNIverse account and going to their Student Center.

Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services | 319-273-6349

Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services works with individuals with disabilities who want to become employed. If an individual is determined eligible for services we assist them to achieve their employment goal by providing such things as tuition assistance, counseling/advising, assistive technology and other services.

UNI encourages those who have experienced any form of harassment or assault to report the incident to the University Title IX Officer or any of the designated Title IX Deputy Coordinators. Panther Pantry | 319-273-2683

The purpose of the Panther Pantry is to ensure that UNI students are able to get their basic food and necessity needs met. We recognize that in order to succeed in the classroom, and here at UNI, students need to have access to food.

Peer Advisors in Residence (PAIR)

If living in the residence halls, PAIR's are able to provide assistance with a variety of topics to help you succeed.

The Student Health Clinic functions as a general medical clinic that provides evaluation and treatment for a wide variety of health concerns, such as mental health services, coordination of care for chronic medical conditions, and routine health exams.

Provides holistic success coaching to students on academic alert, probation, and probation after suspension.

Student Wellness Services supports the journey toward optimal health and well-being through holistic health promotion and education to enhance student success.

Provides services for student success: Writing Coaches, Math and Science Tutors, Academic Coaches, and Course-Embedded Peer Educators. The Learning Center serves all students and majors.
