Financial Literacy at UNI

Live Like a Student: Live Like a Student is a financial literacy course taught by staff in the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. Students attend 6 sessions to learn information about budgeting, financial goal setting, credit, and much more.

Panther CashCourse: Make informed financial decisions throughout your college years and into your professional life.

  • Note: All incoming freshmen are required to complete either Live Like a Student or Panther CashCourse.

Financial Literacy Month
The month of April is dedicated to a variety of sessions helping you take control of your finances.

 

Personal Finance Information

Budgeting: Steps to help control your finances and avoid financial troubles.

Credit Cards: Understand the benefits and disadvantages of credit cards.

Credit History: Good credit history eases getting an apartment, utilities services, or a car.

Financial Planning: Simple steps that can get you onto the right track for financial success.

Identity Theft and Preventing Fraud: With the advantages of credit and ATM cards comes responsibilities including prevention of fraud and theft.
